Happy Birthday, Harvey!

When we adopted this little boy in June 2016 we were told he was approximately 1.5 to 2 years old. We ended up splitting the difference and decided to make Sept. 5, 2014, his official date of birth -- in honor of my late father who was born on that day in 1932. We know quite a bit about what happened to this kitty in the eight months leading up to our adopting him. (He worked in a cat cafe, and we think Tatum O'Neal was his stepmother at one point!) What we don't know, however, is how anyone could have ever let him go in the first place, given the fact that he's the sweetest animal on God's green earth.  

So here's wishing Harvey a very happy "birthday." Thanks for being the best thing about this otherwise rough past 15 months. With love, your two dads. xo
